Melkkos resepte:

 

Melkkos in the microwave


1 Litre Milk
180ml Cake Flour
2ml Salt
15ml Margerine/Butter
Cinnamon sugar


1.       Microwave milk in Medium Gourmet Roaster bowl 10 min
          at 100% maximum power
l
2.       Mix flour salt

3.       Rub butter into flour mixture

4.       Add flour mixture to hot milk.  Whisk until small lumps form

5.       Microwave for 4 minutes

6.       Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar

Persoonlik maak ek basies die resep hierbo:

Maar ek gebruik een blik kondens en 3 blikke water en/of soya melk.

Kook tot gaar.

Die glutenvrye meel meng ek met botter of soyamelk/water tot frummels of n slap pap/pasta. Die frummels gee jou die klontjies en die slap pap gee jou na melkkos pap.
Melkkos
  Woolies resep

2 litres fresh milk
165g cake flour
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp butter
cinnamon sugar, for serving
perserved figs, for serving (optional)

Slowly bring the milk to the boil in a saucepan over a medium heat.
Mix together the flour and salt and rub in the butter.
Add the flour mixture to the milk, stirring continuously until the flour is completely incorporated.
Cover and slowly cook for 12 to 15 minutes, taking care not to let it burn.
Ladle into soup bowls, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and top with slices of preserved fig.

 


Melkkos met Macaroni

 

100g (250ml) Macaroni

1L Melk

25ml Botter

2 eiers

50ml Meel

5ml Bakpoeier

Sout

Kaneel

 

 

Mikro 750ml van die melk saam met die macaroni en botter vir 15min op 100% krag. Roer en kook weer vir 5 min.

Skei eiers.  Klits eiergeel, 250ml van die melk, meel bakpoeier en die sout saam..

Voeg by macaroni mengsel en kook vir 6 min op 100% krag.

Klits eiers witte styf (nie droog nie) en vou in.  Bedien met kaneel en suiker.

 


Melkkos (NZ recipe)

  • ¾ cup (190 ml) flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • A pinch of salt
  • 4 cups (1 litre) of milk
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Cinnamon sugar to serve
  1. Use your fingers to rub the butter into the flour and salt.
  2. Bring the milk (with a cinnamon stick) to boil on the stove.
  3. Add the butter and flour mixture a little bit at a time while stirring.
  4. Turn the heat down and let it simmer for 5 to 10 minutes until cooked. Stir regularly.

***** Melkkos is a comforting milk and cinnamon dish that can be served as a light breakfast, lunch or evening meal.
The name "melkkos" (which means "meal made from milk") doesn't do justice to this wonderful dish that will warm up even the most dismal of winter days.

There many ways to make melkkos.

One method reminds of making pasta: you roll stiff dough with a rolling pin, sprinkle it with flour, fold it double, sprinkle with more flour, fold it again, and slice it into thin slivers.
These slivers are then cooked in cinnamon-infused milk that's enriched with butter.

Marietjie's mother's version was to simmered sago in cinnamon-infused milk.

Marietjie's own recipe, which is simple and very flavoursome, involves infusing a cinnamon stick in milk on the stove-top for a while to develop the flavour.
You can use a microwave oven to speed it up, but it won't be quite as good.

Serve the melkkos steaming hot in soup plates. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar to taste.

Melkkos Recipe

  • 10ml Baking Powder
  • 7 cups Milk
  • 3 eggs separated
  • 200ml Cake Flour
  • 2ml Salt
  • 50ml Butter
  • 50ml Cinnamon and sugar for sprinkle

First you Sift flour, baking powder and salt together, then rub butter in flour until it is like crumbs. Heat the milk until boiling point and keep it on low heat. Beat egg yolks and pour in a little warm milk. Be careful not to burn the milk during this process. In the milk slowly sprinkle the crumbs and stir continuously until you have used up the crumbs and cook slowly until it is cooked. Let it cool slightly, and then you beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in mixture. For a different variation, you can add spaghetti to the milk to boil, and still continue with the crumbs, if you find it thickens too much, just add milk before you add the crumbs. Mix your cinnamon with sugar and sprinkle over the mixture when dished up in plates.

(Melkkos) Milk Food

About This Recipe:  "Melkkos is a staple in South Africa - rich and hot, best enjoyed on a cold winter's night as a dessert or light meal.
I used to eat loads of this at an Afrikaans boarding school when I was a kid." – Allan Rees-Bevan

Ingredients
o    2 liters milk
o    300 ml cake flour
o    5 ml salt
o    15 ml margarine or 15 ml butter
o    cinnamon sugar
Directions
1.    Sift the flour and salt together and rub in margarine/butter.
2.    Bring milk to the boil.
3.    Add flour mixture to milk and beat.
4.    Lumps will form but keep stirring well!
5.    When lumpy, cover with lid and simmer for 5- 8 minutes, until cooked.
6.    Serve hot with cinnamon sugar. (Cinnamon & Sugar)

Mikrogolf Melkkos (met  sago)

 

100ml Sago

1liter (of 4 x 250ml koppies) melk

30ml of 2 Eetlepels botter

2 eiers, geskei

75ml of 5 Eetl botter of margarien

20ml of 4 teelepels vla poeier

125ml of ½ koppie water

60ml of ¼ koppie suiker

2ml of ½ teelepel fyn kaneel

 

Plaas sago en 1 (van die 4k) kopie melk in mikrogolfvaste glasbak mikrogolf. Vir 2 ½ op hoog.

Roer goed en laat rukkie staan.

Voeg die res van die melk en botter by en mikro op hoof vir 15min.

Roer elke 5 min. Pasop vir oorkook.

Klits die res van die bestandele saam, roer in melkmengsel en mikro op hoof vir 6 min. Roer na 3 min.

Roer goed deur.

Klits eier witte styf en vou in.

Bedien warm met suiker en kaneel.

Die resep kom Huisgenoot se Familiekos.

Ek het vanmiddag die resep gemaak en dit was heerlik en maklik. As jy dink die “pap” is te dik, voeg so bietjie melk by in die 6 min se kookproses.

 


Melkkos

Bestanddele


1 l Melk
1 Stukkie pypkaneel
1½ t Botter
125 ml Suiker
250 ml Koekmeel
Sout na smaak


Metode


Kook die melk saam met die pypkaneel.

Verwyder die pypkaneel sodra die melk kook.

Voeg die botter by.

Meng suiker, meel en sout.

Neem van die warm melk en meng met die meel mengsel tot glad.

Voeg nou die meelmengsel by die warm melk.

Kook nou die melk vir 5 minute en roer gedurig.

Dien warm op met kaneelsuiker, botter of gouestroop.

Maklike sjokolade poeding

MAKLIKE SJOKOLADEPOEDING

(Beter as Woolies se "Death by Chocolate")

In 'n groot mengbak: Meng:

* 75 gr Bruismeel
* 60 ml Kakao
* 100 gr sagte margarien
* 100 gr sagte bruin suiker
* 60 ml neute
* 5 ml vanielje
* 30 ml warm water
Klits en voeg by:
* 2 eiers
Plaas in 'n 1.1 liter bak
Plaas op omgekeerde bord in mikrogolfoond met "carlton paper" bo-op.
Mikrogolf op hoog vir 4-5 minute (tot wegtrek van die kante).

Stroop:
* 20 ml kitskoffie
* 60 ml strooisuiker
* 150 ml warm water
* 30 ml sjerrie / brandewyn (opsioneel)
Mikrogolf sous vir twee minute op Hoog

Gooi stroop oor poeding.  Bedien warm met room of roomys.
